Leeds Carnegie Vs. Northampton Saints – March 2011
For the second year running Projex were proud match sponsor for Leeds Carnegie Vs. Northampton Saints in the Aviva Premiership. Headingley is an excellent venue for what is a very entertaining afternoon ably assisted by the free bar! OK, so if you are a Leeds fan it’s been a difficult season and it was always going to be an uphill battle against Saints. A try from Danny Paul and eight points from the boot of fly-half Adrian Jarvis were not enough to prevent yet another defeat, with the latter also missing a kick late on to secure a losing bonus point.
The result notwithstanding it was another enjoyable afternoon and proved a good initiation for the newest members of the team; Ian Gregg and Greg Kirby who will both be joined by Glen Cooke and Nick Keaney in the soon to be Birmingham Office.
It doesn’t look promising that we will be able to sponsor the return fixture next season, possibly Cornish Pirates looks the most exotic fixture!
