As a company we strongly believe in delivering quality projects in all sectors. We cannot ignore the need to build better, more energy efficient buildings and our interest extends to managing and co-ordinating teams to provide these projects and this has led us to become pro-active in the requirements of understanding how to add value in the development process.
Projex have actively been liaising with Carbon Logix an innovative ICF building company to provide Project Management/Construction advice on a series of schemes across the UK on both residential and commercial projects.
Working with the Harris Partnership designs have been developed to take forward alternative thoughts on small retail cafe units aimed at reducing running costs for the end users whilst providing quicker project delivery through improved construction programmes.
We have to date completed a review of retail/cafe units creating typical retail shells with enhanced energy efficiency saving up to 30% running costs. Similar studies have also been completed on Nursing/Care Home facilities which again show significant improvements on energy efficiency which will now be actively marketed as a project service.
Where running costs are a key factor in delivering profitability we believe we need to look at reducing these costs through better design.
